Developed from traditional preserved fruit recipes, Tư Bông fruit rolls are a well-known specialty of Đồng Tháp, often referred to as the “land of pink lotuses.” Fruit Roll Cakes combine various fruit preserves that are slowly cooked to a soft, pliable texture using a proprietary method, then spread onto a layer of crispy grilled glutinous rice paper and carefully rolled. The crunchy outer layer encloses a fruit preserve filling made from ingredients such as banana, pineapple, soursop, mango, and tamarind.
